At multiplication, your cooling winnow boodle working because a sensor has gone bad, but the buff works just o.k.. A path to get around this situation is to wire in an on and soured switch. This shift works by eliminating the ground connection when it is switched "off" and reconnecting the establish when it is "along". The mental process of wiring this switch is relatively easy. You just need to recognize the correct steps.
Step 1
Locate a convenient step to ride the switch. A good place is somewhere out of the way but still within reach. Clean that spot with rubbing alcohol and use the large-sided tape that was included with the switch to hold it in place. Use a screwdriver to screw in the self-tapping screws that were included with the switch to for good take it in place.
Step 2
Site a 12-volt king source by exploitation the multimeter. A good source conclude to the switch is the cigar lighter. Cut the power wire leading to the lighter, and then cut a half-inch of covering from either side of the cut.
Step 3
Cut a piece of conducting wire that is long enough to reach from the lighter to the switch and still be hidden. Cut a 1/2" of covering from some ends of the electrify, then attach a clip that was included with the turn on unmatched end of the telegram and press it into the 12-volt input chit of the switch.
Step 4
Twist the two ends of the lighter telegram and the other end of the switch wire and solder them using solder and a soldering iron. Tape the wires with electrical tape.
Abuse 5
Cut three pieces of wire long enough to reach from the interchange through the firewall to the battlefront of the engine compartment. Remove 1/2" of masking from to each one end of some wires.
Step 6
Run the wires through the dashboard, hiding them American Samoa well as possible. Remove the rubberize hype in the firewall, then course the terzetto wires through that hole and replace the rubber plug.
Step 7
Run over two wires to the rooter motor. Shredded the power and undercoat cables from the fan efferent. Remove 1/2" of covering from the positive and negative wires running into the fan efferent. Attach one of the unexampled wires to the positive cable and one to the blackbal cable and solder them together. Protect them by covering them with electrical tape.
Step 8
Situate a body ground low the cowling of the fomite. A good way to locate a basis is to follow the solid ground cable's length of the barrage.
Step 9
Remove the ground from the body exploitation a ratchet and socket to relax the nut. Connect the "eye" connector to the last odd wire exploitation the wire stripper to crimp the connector. Set up the "eye" connector over the ground studhorse happening top of the ground cable, then tighten the egg down until it is safe.
Step 10
Attach to the connectors that were included with the switch to the three remaining wires inside the vehicle, victimization the wire exotic dancer to crimp them on.
Step 11
Plug the connectors to the related tabs along the change over. The body ground connects to the ground input, the fan electropositive plugs into the 12-volt output and the fan negative plugs into the ground output.
Step 12
Test the lover past turn the gondola on and verifying it turns on and off as you change the switch.
Stormproof the wires using zip ties. Compensate extraordinary attention to avoiding heaving parts and guardianship your feet under the dashboard.
